Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is an American actor, producer, and model. DJ Qualls became famous after his part in Road Trip. Since then, he has appeared in twenty feature films, such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. Alongside his role in Road Trip, Qualls has appeared in over 22 TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order & Others. Qualls is fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. After undergoing treatment for two years, the cancer was cured. However, treatment at an early stage had severe effects on the health of his patients and their development. When he began acting, in the direction of financial security, it seemed like his goal because his experience with poverty had been a part of his life. I've been living so cheaply and for so long, I'm able to have that financial security or else the world seems too much for me he stated in an interview. He is nostalgic about his youth and hopes to combat the bullying. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. In real life and on screen, DJ would be thrilled to play the role of a father. But he admits Directors don't have me as a character. He'd like to be a parent so he could devote less time on his career to more care for the infant.
