Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as to a few Malayalam films. The year she was born, she won the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her performance as actress Savitri. In addition, she received an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh happens to be the actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She began her career as a child actress at the beginning of 2000 and went back to film after studying fashion design. She was the leading role in Geethaanjali which was a film in Malayalam. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy has signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015. She then began accepting projects out of Malayalam. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's romance comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. The film was not a success at the box-office. Due to her busy schedule in 2015, she was forced to pull herself out of projects on which she had already begun working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. This meant that she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo which starred Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. In 2015 the movie was later delayed and reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will debut in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen on screen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay. She also appeared as a character in Tamil film Paambhu Sattai as well as Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
