Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada. She is best known to Canadians because of her character as an Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda e Voltea a' que te is enthralled. A dancer and model by trade Toubia has also had the success she has achieved in both areas. Montreal was her birthplace, and she spent her childhood in Texas. Since her early years she's been learned a range of styles. As she reached the age of 15 old, she started competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame after she made her debut in 2008 as a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty contest. In 2010, she was the receptionist of Telemundo the telenovela Aurora. In 2015 she starred in her debut feature film, an action drama called Tattooed Love.
